James Moran
Director
James joined the College as a Director in January 2005. James brings with him over 20 years experience in the finance sector in a range of roles including Operations Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, HR, Financial Controller and Member Service. James' expertise also extends to "wealth management product implementation".

James is highly qualified with a Master in Commerce (HR), Bachelor in Commerce and Diplomas in Financial Services and Frontline Management. James specialises in business development and delivery of specialist consultancy services offered by the College.

James fills his "spare" time as a Board Member of Berrima District Credit Union.




 
Lisa Jones
Director
Lisa has 10 years experience in the Finance sector, and 10 years in the Educational sector - predominately in HR and Training roles. Lisa's skills in problem solving and business planning have meant that across her career, Lisa has been recruited to manage a variety of large business projects and so has also developed strong compliance and IT skills.

Lisa has a Masters in Labour Law and Relations from Sydney University and a Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce from Wollongong University. She also holds a range of Certificate and Diploma qualifications in Training and Management.

Lisa is one of those mad home renovators... but she never quite gets the renovations finished!

Earle Canvin
National Business Development Manager
Earle has a passion for the Education Industry, and thrives on being able to exceed client's expectations.

Earle comes to the College with a range of experience working with other Registered Training Organisations and we look foward to Earle continuing to grow our presence nationally in the coming months.

Outside of work, Earle enjoys soccer, cricket, running and generally leading an active lifestyle.




 
Caitlin Embers
Executive Assistant and Business Development
Caitlin comes to the Australian College with a diverse background, and has a degree in Social Work.

Cait has previously worked as a Social Worker, Event Coordinator and Sponsorship Manager. Her experience includes several sectors - public companies, government and not for profit organisations.

In her spare time, Cait enjoys movies, reading, cooking and weekends away.




Training Team


 
Joanne Hinge
Training Manager
Jo has an impressive wealth of knowledge in the Finance industry, with over 20 years experience in areas ranging from frontline service to executive management roles with responsibility for loan and insurance portfolios and performance; collections; new product introduction; branch networks; and community relationships.

Jo has Diplomas in Frontline Management and Financial Service, and Certificate IV qualifications in Training and Assessment and Small Business, and Certificate III in Financial Services (Mercantile Agents). Jo uses her experience and qualifications to run the Colleges highly successful small business program.

Jo is also the Director of Horizon Credit Union.

When away from work Jo enjoys the company of her family and good friends.




 
Pia Angelucci
Training Manager
Pia is another of our Training Managers who brings to her role a wealth of industry experience. Pia has worked in lending, business development and branch roles before joining the College as a Training Manager.

Pia has qualifications in Management, Financial Services and Training and Assessment.

When away from work, Pia enjoys an active lifestyle with the Kembla Joggers.




 
Brett Riddett
Training Manager
Brett is the Colleges "IT" consultant, bringing a wide range of knowledge about the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries.

Brett holds Diploma qualifications in Management and Information Technology and has Certificate IV qualifications in Customer Contact, Training and Assessment, IT and Business.

Brett's hobbies include coaching soccer and futsal, walking and reading.




 
Chris Czarnosz
Training Manager
Originally from Manchester in USA, Chris brings 21 years experience in teaching, specialising in Frontline Management. Chris has enjoyed the diversity of his career which has included group training for as many as 1000 people during his time with the military.

Chris' focus at the College is Business and Leadership Qualifications.

Chris arrived in Australia in December 2009 with his Australian Wife and two children, and he's currently building a home in the Illawarra area.




 
Nicole McKinnirey
Training Manager
Nicole is a Training Manager. Having worked with the College previously after a two year sojourn, Nicole rejoined the College in a new role as a Training Manager.

Nicole has a background in the finance industry as well as having run her own successful small business for some years.

Outside of work Nicole enjoys a quiet morning jog with her beautiful dog along the harbour, and when it is time for a break loves nothing better than to get away with her family skiing in the winter and camping in the summer.






 
Suzie Haddad
IT Training Officer
Suzie has recently joined the team at the Australian College as a Training Manager. Suzie has worked in the IT industry for the past 2 years assisting companies analyse current business processes and how current technology is assisting them improve efficiency.

Suzie has qualifications in IT with a Bachelor Degree from the University of Wollongong.

In her spare time, Suzie enjoys spending her time with her family and friends. She also loves sport and especially playing soccer and swimming.





 
Tracey Jones
Training Manager
Tracey's focus at the College is liasing with Accounting and Diploma students.

Previously, Tracey spent six years as a team manager with major insurer IAG. Her role covered numerous aspects of Finacial Services including Accounting and Staff Training.

Tracey has qualifications in Training and Assessment and Accounting and Financial Services Reform.

To relax, Tracey enjoys reading and is a qualified NLP Practitioner and Hypnotherapist.




 
Steve Bamford
Training Officer - Accounting
Steve has a background as a Fire Fighter, spending much of his working life with the NSW Fire Brigade Service.

Steve has a Bachelor of Business Studies as well as a Training and Assessment Qualification.

Besides working as a Fire Fighter, Steve also has a background as an Accountant and Bookkeeper.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys lawn bowls and holidaying in different locations.




 
Megan Mireyless
Marketing & Human Resources Tutor
Megan is one of the Colleges' assessors. She has 20 years experience in local government in a range of roles, from records management, customer service, and staff training to HR management and strategic planning. She also served as a Credit Union Director for 10 years.

Studying part time, Megan gained a Master of Commerce in Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management. She has been a casual lecturer for about 5 years for the Graduate School of Business at Wollongong University.

Megan enjoys outings with her husband and daughter, attempting to play golf, and Thai cooking (and eating!).




Pauline Farrugia
Marketing & Human Resources Tutor
Pauline has a background in retail specialising in Human Resources. Pauline is currently studying a Masters of Commerce at the University of Wollongong.

Pauline's interests include volunteering for a number of charities, including the Cancer Council and she enjoys the company of good friends and family.




 
Jennifer Bird
Financial Services Tutor
For the past 11 years, Jennifer has worked at St George Bank and worked in a variety of different roles, including Bank Teller, Customer Call Consultant and a Training Manager.

When Jennifer is not working, she has a passion for Irish Dancing, which she enjoys several times per week. Jennifer also enjoys going to the beach with her children and two dogs.




 
Alison Dwyer
Business & IT Tutor
Alison joins the College and has over 12 years in IT experience and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Information Systems and Technology.

Throughout Alison's career, she has held a variety of different positions within the IT sector, including IT Helpdesk; telephone support and business systems analysis through to staff training and management.

Alison has also worked with a variety of business applications in a cross sector of organisations including Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial Services Industries.

In her spare time, Alison has a passion for sewing, enjoys motorbike rides with her husband and netball.




Leanne Fragiacomo
Financial Services Tutor
Leanne has a background in the Financial Services Industry and has an Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Diploma in Finanical Planning. Leanne enjoys walking, swimming, reading fiction and spending time with her family.



 
Daniel Willoughby
Cadet Training Officer
Daniel has a Diploma in Management, and was previously a Manager at one of Australia's largest retail outlets.

Outside of work, Daniel has a strong emphasis on fitness. He enjoys surfing, diving, swimming and he recently won a regional title for body building.




 
Sharon Rich
Assessments
Besides her strong background in the finance industry, Sharon also set up and ran her own business for many years. Joining the College in 2004, she really adds to the diversity and expertise of our team.

Sharon sees the lion's share of your student's assessment tasks and is committed to providing feedback that is motivating and instructive. Students really appreciate the added value!

Life's busy, but when it's time for a break Sharon and her family like to pack up the tent and find a place to slow down and enjoy the freedom of camping somewhere peaceful.

Fiona Stephens
Training Co-ordinator
Fiona started with the College in May 2007 after leaving a successful career as a qualified chef. Not only does the College get a great new employee but awesome morning teas!

Fiona has made an impressive start to her business career - it isn't an easy job co-ordinating the materials and bookings for the Training Managers!





 
Tania Holmes
Administration Projects and Support
Tania has background in payroll, accounts and human resources. Most recently Tania spent 6 years managing a large business in the service sector.

She also has extensive consultancy experience in administration and payroll working with a number of larger companies.

Outside of work Tania enjoys a healthy lifestyle which includes going to the beach and walking her dog.




 
Melissa Draper
Administration Officer
Melissa started at the College in January 2007 as an Administration trainee, and has become a study bug, by completing a Certificate III in Business Administration,Certificate IV in Buiness, Partial Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical),and a Web design course.

Her main responsibility is to ensure all brochures, course modules and marketing materials are up to date and uploaded to our webpage.

In her time away from work, Melissa loves to spend time with her friends and family.




 
Suzie Keem
Office Administrator
Suzie joined the College in late 2007 as an Office Assistant.

Suzie looks after processing the Assessment Tasks received from students, and sending out course materials.

After work Suzie is an active member of Kembla Joggers. Suzie got married in January 2009.




 
Teresa Hallam
Administrative Support
Teresa started work with the College in March 2008, and works as a casual in our Administration Department.

When not working Teresa spends her time looking after her two daughters and hubby. Loves playing tennis and catching up with friends.




 
STuart Devlin
IT Manager
Stuart started his working life at BHP as an Apprentice Electrician. After completing his apprenticeship, he studied further in post industrial electronics. After this he transitioned to a role as an Information Systems Analyst which he performed for a number if years. Stuart has also specialised in inventory management, aggregation supporting services as well as Cognos reporting.

Outside of work, Stuart has a passion for photography and travelling. he has travelled extensively throughout Australia as well as travelling to numerous different countries. He especially enjoys photographing landscapes and wildlife.




 
Peter Cochrane
IT Consultant
Peter is on contract to offer specialist support for our IT systems.

A keen bushwalker, Peters also knows a thing or two about surviving in the great outdoors. When he's not doing this, you'll probably find him kicking up his heels on the dance floor.
