Federal Incentives for Traineeships are Changing!

The Australian government wants to hear from you

This is YOUR chance to have your say!

Big changes are coming to the VET sector and you have an opportunity to have your opinions heard if you act now.

As many of your many know, the Federal Government will be eliminating hiring incentives for most traineeship qualifications beginning after 30 June 2024, leaving only those qualifications on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List to attract Federal incentives.

Unfortunately, this applies to all traineeship qualifications in the Business, Information Technology (ICT), Finance and Supply Chain industries.

ACCM College fully understands this will have an impact on our traineeship employers and industry partners.

The government wants to hear from you!

The Australian Government is undertaking a last-minute review of the incentive system and they want your feedback.

The government has invited written submissions on matters raised in the Terms of Reference (which you can download from the above link) before 15 May 2024 to ApprenticeshipsReview@dewr.gov.au

ACCM College is committed to ensuring your voice is heard, and we are happy to discuss your specific concerns with you prior to submitting.

Just write to ceo@accm.edu.au or call 02 4225 9881 and ask for Chris if you would like to chat or see how we can help you have your voice heard.
